Rashford to Have Important Talks with Manchester United About His Future

Marcus Rashford and Manchester United will have an important meeting this week to talk about his future at the club.

The 27-year-old forward is not part of new manager Ruben Amorim’s plans for next season. The two had a disagreement earlier this year, and Rashford has not played for the team since then.

Rashford spent the second half of last season on loan at Aston Villa. He did well there, scoring 6 goals and giving 4 assists in 17 games.

However, his high salary – about £375,000 a week with bonuses – makes it hard for other clubs to buy him permanently. Big clubs like Barcelona and Bayern Munich are interested but would prefer a loan move instead of a full transfer.

Reports say Barcelona’s manager Hansi Flick has approved the idea of signing Rashford.

The Mirror, through Sportal, says Rashford will meet with the club’s owners this week. They will discuss his future, including what kind of transfer Manchester United would accept, and how much money they expect from interested clubs.

They will also talk about whether United is open to another loan move or only wants to sell him permanently.

Manchester United reportedly would only agree to another loan if the buying club promises to purchase him next summer.

United had a similar plan with Rashford and Jadon Sancho before, hoping their loan clubs would buy them. But Aston Villa and Chelsea both refused to make those transfers permanent
