Real Madrid were rescued from embarrassment as late goals from Sergio Ramos and Mariano saw them beat Deportivo La Coruna 3-2 on Saturday.
After a poor first-half, Zinedine Zidane’s men took the lead five minutes after the break when Alvaro Morata sent it sailing in from distance.
Bu Deportivo fought back just after the hour mark when Joselu blasted into the top corner from the edge of the box.
Two minutes later, Depor were 2-1 up. Again, Joselu was the scorer when he met Florin Andone’s pass into the box and got it past Navas.
Mariano, 23, looked to have rescued a draw when he headed a Lucas Vazquez cross into the net, but Sergio Ramos was on hand to turn in a corner in stoppage time.
