Real Madrid considering Julen Lopetegui future?
The Real Madrid hierarchy have reportedly started to have doubts over their appointment of manager Julen Lopetegui.
The European champions were forced to act during the summer after Zinedine Zidane opted to step down from his role, and a decision was made to bring in then-Spain boss Lopetegui.
However, Real have already dropped seven points in seven matches in La Liga, while the Spanish giants also lost out to CSKA Moscow in the Champions League in midweek.
According to Mundo Deportivo, it has resulted in Lopetegui coming under pressure to keep his job at the Bernabeu in the long term.
Real remain joint-top of the La Liga standings, but a failure to take advantage of Barcelona’s inconsistent form has led to questions being asked of the 52-year-old.
The first El Clasico of the campaign takes place at Camp Nou on October 28.
