Remo Stars owner gifts team 28m for second place finish
President of Nigeria Premier League club Remo Stars Sports Club Kunle Soname has gifted the team 28 million naira for it’s second place finish in the recently concluded season.
This followed a reception for the Remo Stars Sports Club team on Monday June 19 in Ikenne, Ogun State.
At the NPFL Super Six playoffs in Lagos, Remo Stars finished behind league champions Enyimba International FC on goal difference.
That means the club will represent Nigeria in the CAF Champions League next season, an upgrade to their CAF Confederation Cup appearance in the just concluded season.
A delighted, Remo Stars owner, Kunle Soname has gifted the team a total sum of 28million naira for finishing second in the NPFL and qualifying for the CAF Champions League.

At the reception, Soname poured encomiums on the players, with extended thanks to head coach, Daniel Ogunmodede (Ijaball) for leading the team to achieve the CAF Champions League qualification.
