Revealed: Schedule for 2025 Nigeria President Federation Cup
The 2025 Nigeria President Federation Cup has officially started with state-level preliminary matches, which began on Monday. According to the NFF Competitions Department, the final matches in each state will be played on either Saturday, 22nd February, or Sunday, 23rd February 2025.
The NFF has emphasized the importance of sticking to these dates. Any State Football Association (FA) that fails to do so, without special approval from the NFF, will face a fine of N1 million. Clubs that fail to honor a match at the state level after the draw is released will also be fined N500,000. If a club misses a match during the National competition, they will be fined N1 million.
The National Play-Off for the competition will take place on 5th March 2025, followed by the National Draw one week later. The rounds for the 64, 32, and 16 teams will be played on 19th March, 2nd April, and 16th April, respectively. The quarter-finals are scheduled for 3rd and 4th May, with the semi-finals set for 17th and 18th May 2025.
