Revealed: Villarreal turned down €35m offer from Liverpool for Samuel Chukwueze

Spanish outfit Villarreal turned down an offer of €35m made by Liverpool to sign Nigerian international attacker Samuel Chukwueze during the January transfer window.

France Football has revealed that the Premier League run away leaders, Liverpool who had been linked with Samuel Chukwueze, finally made a bid for the Nigerian attacker who has been liken to the legendary Arjen Robben.

But the Spanish club Villarreal turned down the offer because they would only sell Samuel Chukwueze if his release clause of €65m is met.

Samuel Chukwueze has been linked to top European clubs like City, Arsenal and Bayern Munich.
