Rivers United FC of Nigeria stumbled to a 3-0 loss to Club Africain in a 2023/2024 CAF Confederation Cup group stage matchday four clash in Tunisia.
The Pride of Rivers had taken maximum points from their hosts when they faced off in Nigeria on matchday three but stumbled in the return fixture to put their hopes of reaching the next round in danger.
Rivers United suffered a setback in their quest to advance to the knockout stages of the CAF Confederation Cup, facing a 3-0 defeat at the hands of Club Africain.
It was Nigerian striker Kingsley Eduwo who played a pivotal role in securing the victory for the Tunisian side, netting two goals in the 6th and 45th minute while Rami Bedoui added to the tally in the 69th minute.

Club Africain strengthened their position at the top with nine points, while Dreams FC of Ghana also secured nine points after a 4-0 victory over APC Lobito from Angola.
