Rivers Utd star Bolaji Sakin joins Guinean side Horoya FC
Former Wikki Tourists and Abia Warriors attacker Bolaji Sakin has joined Guinean side Horoya AC on a year-long loan deal and is set to make his league debut in the Guinean Championnat this weekend.
The Rivers United star distinguished himself in the shirts of the Pride of Rivers in last year’s CAF Confederation Cup where he scored two goals in Rwanda and Morocco.
Sakin has apparently settled in well in his new environment and had an impressive game during their Guinea Super Cup game last Saturday, scoring the winning goal for Horoya.
Speaking to newsmen at the club press stand, the lanky forward acknowledged: “ I am here to help my new team in the domestic and continental front. I have settled down and the language is not a barrier for me because I have a good knowledge and communicate very well in French.”
