Road to 2026 World Cup: Nigeria to host Lesotho in Uyo on matchday one
The Super Eagles of Nigeria will host Lesotho at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium Uyo on matchday one of 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
Road to the 2026 FIFA World Cup begins for African countries on November 13, 2023 and Nigeria’s journey begins with a home game vs Lesotho.
South Africa, Benin Republic, Zimbabwe and Rwanda are Nigeria’s other group opponents as they attempt to earn automatic qualification for what will be the biggest FIFA World Cup yet.
Nigeria will end the ten-matchdays long World Cup qualification journey with a home game vs neighbors Benin Republic in October 2025.
