Robinson, Daniels fined after Knicks-Hawks Game 6 altercation
Mitchell Robinson and Dyson Daniels have been fined following an on-court altercation during Game 6 of the first-round playoff series between the New York Knicks and the Atlanta Hawks.
Robinson was fined $50,000, while Daniels received a $25,000 fine.
The incident occurred with 4:39 remaining in the second quarter of New York’s 140-89 win. Both players became entangled while battling for position during a free throw and the situation escalated, with Robinson continuing to pursue Daniels after they were separated.
Both players were assessed technical fouls and ejected from the game.
The NBA also noted that Robinson’s fine included consideration of an inappropriate social media post related to the incident after the game.
