Rockets, Nets, set NBA single-game record for three-point attempts
The Brooklyn Nets and Houston Rockets set a new NBA record for combined three-point attempts in a single game on Monday.
The two teams combined to shoot 89 three-pointers, breaking the previous record by one. The Rockets made 20 of their 50 attempts from behind the arc in a 117-103 home victory.
James Harden, who scored a game-high 37 points with 10 rebounds and eight assists, hit eight of 13 from beyond the arc.
Seventeen different players attempted a three-pointer in the game, and Nets guard Caris LeVert (0 for five) and forward Quincy Acy (0 for three) were the only players to attempt multiple and miss them all.
