Roger Federer attends Super Bowl 2026 in Santa Clara

Roger Federer attended Super Bowl 2026 at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, where the Seattle Seahawks faced the New England Patriots.

Federer, who has long followed American football, said his presence at the game was driven by genuine interest in the sport and past experiences at the NFL’s showpiece event.

“I’ve always enjoyed American football, and the Super Bowl is such a special event,” Federer said during a media interaction at the stadium.

The former world No. 1 reflected on a previous Super Bowl he attended, recalling one of the most famous moments in NFL history.

“I was at the Super Bowl in 2008 when Tom Brady was going for the perfect season,” he said.
I remember the helmet catch by David Tyree and the Eli Manning pass. That’s my favourite Super Bowl memory, especially being in the stadium.”

Federer also shared his thoughts on halftime performances, naming Michael Jackson as his standout.

“From everything I’ve seen, Michael Jackson was incredible,” Federer said.
“I also really liked Eminem, 50 Cent, and Dr. Dre in LA. That’s music I grew up with.”

The appearance marked another high profile sporting outing for Federer, who retired from tennis in 2022 after winning 20 Grand Slam titles and 103 ATP titles during a career that spanned more than two decades.
