Ronaldo sets unique records in Juve 2-1 win against Adekanye’s Lazio
Cristiano Ronaldo has set unique records as he leads Juventus to a 2-1 win against Lazio who paraded Nigeria’s Bobby Adekanye on Monday.
The Portuguese super stars scored two goals, one from the spot kick and the other from a fine finish to give Juventus a two-goal lead.
The goal increased Cristiano Ronaldo league goals tally to 30 in 30 games and his 51st in two season making him the only player in history to have scored 50+ goals in the Premier League, La Liga and Serie A.
He also became the fastest player to score 50 Serie A goals, that is faster than Ronaldo de Lima, Andriy Shevchenko and Marco Van Basten.
Meanwhile, Lazio striker Ciro Immobile who scored his side’s only goal also hit the 30 goal mark alongside Cristiano Ronaldo as both players battle for the top scorer award.
Former Liverpool forward of Nigerian descent, Bobby Adekanye was also in action for Lazio.
The win put Juventus 8 points ahead of second place Inter Milan with four games to the end of the season.
