RS Berkane crowned Champions of the CAF Confederation Cup. Defeat Wasteful Orlando Pirates 5-4 on penalties.
RS Berkane required a penalty shootout to defeat South Africa’s Orlando Pirates in the Final of the CAF Confederation Cup decided today at the Godswill Akpabio International stadium Uyo Nigeria.
A drab 90 minutes of football gave way for a lively 30 minutes of extra time with each time scoring either half for a 1-1 scoreline as Referee Jianny Sikazwe was this time spot on with his timing of the game.
Youssef Alfahli scored from the spot in the first half of extra time. Pirates levelled scores with minutes to the end of extra time to force the game into penalties.

The Moroccans have thus won their second CAF Confederation Cup title with the first in 2019/2020.
