Ruben Amorim: “I’ll Still Be Man United Manager After International Break”

Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim says he expects to stay in charge after the upcoming international break, despite growing pressure.
Amorim made the comments after United were knocked out of the Carabao Cup by League Two side Grimsby Town on Wednesday — a shock defeat that has left fans and pundits questioning his future.
The team now faces Burnley at Old Trafford on Saturday.
Speaking to reporters on Friday, Amorim was asked if he was sure he wouldn’t be sacked during the break. He replied:
“I don’t know what is going to happen. That is my plan [to continue], but I can’t promise anything about the future.
“But I am still the manager of Manchester United, and I believe that won’t change.”
Amorim has said he wants to continue in the role, even though pressure is mounting after recent results.
