Sabastine on target as Bayelsa Queens trash Ghana’s Ampem Darkoa Ladies to qualify for CAFWCL

Bayelsa Queens have beaten Ghana’s Ampem Darkoa Ladies to claim the WAFU Zone B ticket for this season’s CAF Women Champions League.

Nigeria’s U-20 women striker Sabastine Flourish was among the goal scorers as Bayelsa Queens trashed their Ghanaian counterparts 3-0 in Yamoussoukro on Saturday.

Miracle Joseph from the spot kick scored Bayelsa’s first goal in the 11th minute of the game, and Sabastine Flourish made it two in the 19th minute.

And Chinyere Igbomalu scored in the 42nd minute to complete the 3-0 rout of the Ghanaian champions.

Nigeria picked up WAFU Zone B tickets to play in this season CAF Women’s Champions League.

Bayelsa Queens scored a total of 17 goals and conceded just one goal throughout the tournament.
