Sadio Mané Invests $20 Million in Mango Processing Plant in Senegal

Sadio Mané is investing around $20 million of his own money in a mango plantation and processing facility in his hometown of Bambali, Senegal.

The project, known as SM10 Agro, is expected to cover 500 hectares and process up to 8,500 tonnes of mangoes annually into pulp, dried products and mango butter.

The facility is projected to create more than 1,000 direct jobs and help reduce the amount of mangoes lost after harvest. Construction is reportedly underway.

Mané has previously supported community projects in Senegal, including schools and healthcare facilities. This latest investment extends his efforts to create opportunities back home.

While the football star’s success has taken him around the world, this project brings part of that success back to his community through jobs, agriculture, and local industry.
