Sadiq Umar enjoys family support during league game in Spain
Nigerian striker, Sadiq Umar received heartfelt support from his partner and daughter during a recent La Liga match for Real Sociedad against Cádiz in Spain.
During the match against Cádiz on Friday, March 15, 2024, Sadiq’s family was present in the stands to cheer him on, but he was an unused substitute as Sociedad won 2-0 at home.
His partner, Judy Memini, shared a touching video on her Instagram story, capturing their daughter Aisha showing her support with the caption “DADDY’S NUMBER 1 FAN ❤️”
Judy, who has Spanish and Italian heritage, has been a constant source of support for Sadiq throughout their relationship, which reportedly began during his time playing in Italy. She has also formed a strong bond with Sadiq’s family in Nigeria, as evidenced by their holiday spent together in Kaduna last December, where she actively participated in family festivities, including a family wedding.
While the couple’s marital status remains undisclosed, their traditional Muslim background suggests that they may be married.
Meanwhile, Umar will return to the Eagles for the March international break after missing the opportunity to join the Super Eagles at the 2023 tournament due to a suspected knee injury, which later turned out to be a bruise. Fortunately, he was cleared to resume training immediately with his Spanish club.
