Salah Hints at Liverpool Exit Over Lack of New Contract Offer
Liverpool star Mohamed Salah has expressed disappointment at not receiving a new contract offer, hinting he might leave the club next summer. The Egyptian forward’s current deal ends at the end of the season, leaving his future uncertain despite his vital role in the team’s success.
Speaking after scoring twice in Liverpool’s win against Southampton, Salah shared his frustration. “It’s almost December, and I haven’t been offered a new contract. I’m probably more out than in next summer,” he said. “I’ve been here for many years, and there’s no club like Liverpool, but this isn’t in my hands.”
Despite the situation, Salah remains focused on helping Liverpool achieve their goals this season. “I’m disappointed, but I’m concentrating on playing, trying to win the Premier League and hopefully the Champions League too,” he added.
Salah has been in outstanding form, with 10 goals and six assists in 13 Premier League matches, helping Liverpool lead the table by eight points.
If Liverpool doesn’t act quickly, Salah will be free to negotiate with other clubs from January. At 33, his performances still attract global attention, and losing him would be a significant blow for Liverpool.
