Liverpool star Mohamed Salah says he targets winning the Africa Cup of Nations Cup [AFCON] title win in Ivory Coast. SportsRation reports.
In a recent post-match interview with Sky Sports after starring In Liverpool’s 4-2 triumph over Newcastle during Monday night’s Premier League clash at Anfield, the forward declared he hopes to go a step better than the second place finish at the AFCON.
“We believe too much. We have top talents. They just need to work hard.
“Going to AFCON? I want to win it! I love playing for my country. Without me they will be fine. We have fantastic players.” Salah said.
Reflecting on Egypt’s potential in the tournament, Salah expressed confidence in the team’s capabilities and emphasized their quality players.
