Samson Tijani ruled out of the new season with Injury.

What promised to be a breakthrough season for 20 year old former Golden Eaglets captain Samson Tijani has ended before it started with the Midfielder ruled out of the season following a fractured fibula and tibia .

The Nigerian Midfielder sustained the season ending Injury during a pre season game between his Red Bull Salzburg and Feyenord on Saturday 9th July 2022 .

20 year old Tijani who spent last season on loan at Salzburg’s B team Liefering was preparing for his first full season at the Austrian club following his promotion to the first team in February 2022 .

RB Salzburg confirmed the sad news and announced it’s support for the youngster who will be disappointed at the news he will not be in action for the coming season.

At 20, Samson Tijani is blessed with age and talent to recover from this setback to fulfill the huge potentials spotted when he captained the Nigeria Under 17 team at the African Championship and World Youth Championship in 2019.
