Samuel Chukwueze earns praise for performance vs Fiorentina
Nigerian winger, Samuel Chukwueze has earned rare praise for his performance in AC Milan’s Italian Serie A clash against Fiorentina on Saturday, November 25.
Chukwueze was in action for the entire 90 minutes as AC Milan defeated Fiorentina 1-0 win at the Guiseppe Meaza Stadium, his input enough to get positive rating from his manager, Stephan Pioli.
” I was happy with his (Chukwueze) performance on Saturday, ” Pioli said.
“He worked a lot for the team, he found himself in the right positions. He also had a difficult start due to an injury. Now in my opinion he’s fine.
“Maybe he’ll come in a little further in the pitch, more in the heart of the game, but it depends on how we play and the combinations with Calabria.”
The winger joined AC Milan from Villarreal in the summer but has not really hit the ground running in Italy.
