Samuel Chukwueze linked to AC Milan exit
Super Eagles forward Samuel Chukwueze, is likely to leave AC Milan at the end of the season, as he is not seen as an important player in the team.
Since Sergio Conceicao became the manager of AC Milan, there has been talk of some players leaving, and Chukwueze is one of them.
The 25-year-old winger joined AC Milan from Villarreal two years ago for €21.1 million. However, he has not made a big impact at the club.
He has not played as much as he did at Villarreal, as previous coaches Paulo Fonseca and Stefano Pioli did not give him many chances.
Since Conceicao took over at the start of the year, he has changed the forward line at Milan. Chukwueze has not started any games under Conceicao.
According to reports from Nicolo Schira, AC Milan could allow Chukwueze to leave at the end of the season. The club has plenty of attackers, so they are open to letting him go.
Chukwueze now has until the end of the season to prove himself to other big clubs in Europe. He will need to make the most of any chances he gets to show his quality.
He was previously linked with a move to Arsenal, but the transfer didn’t happen because he got injured.
Fulham is also said to be interested in him, and they could make a move for him at the end of the season. Chukwueze is valued at around €25 million.
If he performs well with the limited minutes he gets before the end of the season, he could secure a move to a top club.
