Samuel Kalu’s girlfriend launches initiative to empower the elderly
Cynthia Jenewari, the stunning girlfriend of Super Eagles star Samuel Kalu, is making waves not just for her beauty but also for her impactful philanthropic efforts.
The former Miss Tourism Nigeria has been actively inspiring others and changing lives through her initiative, Elderly First, which focuses on supporting elderly individuals in need.
Jenewari, known for her striking presence and dedication to charitable work, recently shared updates on her NGO’s progress. She expressed her passion for giving back on social media, saying, “I believe you don’t need to have so much before you can give out little. This is passion, my heart is always happy whenever I see these elderly people happy.”
Her heartfelt posts highlighted the challenges faced by the elderly supported by Elderly First and underscored the importance of small acts of kindness. Remarkably, Jenewari’s commitment to philanthropy began at a young age, as she revealed to her nearly 20,000 Instagram followers, “I started doing this before I turned 20 years old.”
With strong support from her family, including her sister and mother, Jenewari has continued to expand her initiative, making a significant impact on the lives of many. She noted, “@elderlyfirst is an NGO that is focused on elderly people. And we’re registered in Nigeria. Some of these women are widows, some have no children, some are blind. I’m happy I can do little to brighten their day. I can’t understand what they’re saying but I know they’re praying for me in their local language.”
Jenewari’s dedication has not gone unnoticed. She joins a group of Nigerian WAGs, including Amara Kanu and Adaeze Yobo, who are making meaningful contributions to social causes. As a model and influencer, Jenewari continues to inspire many with her philanthropic efforts.
Reflecting on her journey, she said, “Officially 2019 till date, I’ve grown and can’t wait to do greater things in future. Made it official in 2019, even when I’m not in Nigeria my family always go out of their way to do these things on my behalf.”
Jenewari’s early commitment to charity is commendable. She shared, “If you’ve known me since my high school days, then you know I’ve always been a big fan of giving: From sharing my break money to using my money to buy snacks for children even when I was doing my first degree. Not to brag but for a young girl using her own money to do charity is commendable. My sister @constyjay and my mum are always there to support me.”
While Cynthia Jenewari continues to make a difference through Elderly First, her fiancé, Samuel Kalu, is also making strides in his football career. Despite facing challenges with injuries and form, Kalu is showcasing his talent with Swiss club Lausanne Sport, following a loan switch from Championship side Watford in 2023. He has been impressive for the Swiss club, marking a positive turn in his career.
As Jenewari prepares for her future with Samuel Kalu, she remains committed to her philanthropic endeavors, proving that beauty and compassion can indeed go hand in hand
