England winger Jadon Sancho has today completed a move to Manchester United from Borussia Dortmund, ending a two-year chase from the Red Devils by putting pen to paper on a deal until 2026 with an option of extending it till 2027.
21-year-old Sancho joined German giants Borussia Dortmund from Manchester City in 2017 as he looked to gain first-team experience despite the insistence of Guardiola that he was in his plans. Sancho established himself as one of the most exciting prospects in world football during his time at Borussia Dortmund, becoming a full England international while courting interest from clubs all over Europe.
News of Sancho’s move to Manchester United first broke during the Euros, after which a medical was carried out, and the move was completed for an initial fee of £73 million.
