Santiago Bernabeu to Host 2030 FIFA World Cup Final

Days after FIFA announced Spain, Morocco and Portugal as 2030 World Cup hosts, the Santiago Bernabeu has reportedly been picked as venue for the tournaments final match.

 

On Wednesday, October 3, 2023, World Football Governing Body – FIFA announced Spain, alongside Morocco and Portugal has defeated consortiums from South America, Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Greece to the 2030 World Cup hosting rights.

According to MARCA, the Santiago Bernabeu has been selected to host the 2030 World Cup final, like it did when Spain last hosted the tournament back in 1982.

Real Madrid’s home ground Santiago Bernabeu has been undergoing renovation work in the last 12 months as it will now serve as a multi-purpose arena.
