Sao Tome and Principe arrive Uyo for Nigeria game
The Sao Tome and Principe national team have arrived in Uyo for the AFCON qualifier vs the Super Eagles of Nigeria, SportsRation reports.
The Patriots touched down at the Victor Attah International Airport, Uyo in the morning of Thursday September 7, 2023.
Sao Tome and Principe is scheduled to face Nigeria in a final Africa Cup of Nations qualifying game on Sunday September 10 at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium Uyo.
A dead-rubber game per Nigeria’s already qualified status and Sao Tome and Principe not with any chance of qualifying for the tournament in Ivory Coast.
First leg ended 0-10 in favour of Nigeria.
