Semi Ajayi was again on song as he helped Rotherham secure a 2-1 win against Queens Park Rangers at Loftus Road Stadium in their championship clash on Wednesday.

The former Arsenal trainee who has been deployed in the midfield by his coach is enjoying his role as he again helped his side achieved a milestone with their victory on Wednesday.

Semi Ajayi popped up in the 71st minute with a rocket strike to put the relegation battlers, Rotherham, ahead at Loftus Road against Queens Park Rangers.

But Bright Osayi-Samuel cancelled his strike in the 85th minute, relentless Ajayi came up again in the last seconds of the game.

Semi Ajayi completed his brace with a header in the 94th minute to ensure his side won an away game for the first time in nearly three years.

Before the 2-1 away win on Wednesday, Rotherham were the only team in the Championship without an away win this season. In fact they hadn’t won single away game in a Championship since April 9th, 2016 when they won 4-0 at MK Dons.

Since the MK Dons’ victory they had tried 43 times in nearly three years with a win till Semi Ajayi’s pile driver broke the jinx.

Semi Ajayi has now scored a total of six goals for Rotherham who continue their push to avoid the drop.
