Serhat Akın Names Victor Osimhen as Greatest Striker in Turkish Super Lig History

Former Fenerbahçe player Serhat Akın has described Galatasaray forward Victor Osimhen as the best striker ever to play in the Turkish Super Lig.

Osimhen had an outstanding season last year while on loan at Galatasaray. The Nigerian star was involved in 45 goals in 41 matches across all competitions.

The 26-year-old helped Galatasaray win both the Turkish Super Lig title and the Turkish Cup and has continued to impress this season.

“Osimhen is an extraordinary player. I think he’s the best centre-forward ever to play in this league,” Akın said, as quoted by Habersarikirmizi.

“Icardi is a natural goalscorer and has done amazing things over the past two years, becoming the top scorer.

“But Icardi is a different kind of player. If I were a manager, I’d be thrilled to have Osimhen in my team — he’s my dream striker.”
