Serie A: Chukwueze Shines but Milan Held by Roma at San Siro

Milan and Roma ended their final game of 2024 with a 1-1 draw at the San Siro, as neither side could claim all three points.

How the Game Unfolded

Milan started strong and grabbed the lead early when Tijjani Reijnders fired a brilliant first-time shot into the bottom corner.

Roma struggled at first but soon found their rhythm. In the 23rd minute, Paulo Dybala stunned the crowd with a spectacular volley to bring Roma level.

Second-Half Drama

The second half saw tension rise as Milan’s manager, Paolo Fonseca, was sent off. Despite the setback, Milan dominated the game, pressing hard for a winning goal.

Nigerian winger Samuel Chukwueze had one of Milan’s best chances, forcing Roma’s goalkeeper Mile Svilar into a fine save. However, the Rossoneri couldn’t find the breakthrough.

What the Result Means

The draw keeps Milan unbeaten at home in the last two months of 2024. For Roma, the result extends their struggles on the road, leaving them winless in 12 away games.
