Seventeen Eagles expected In camp on Tuesday for Crocodiles FIFAWCQ challenge
Seventeen Invited Super Eagles of Nigeria players are expected in camp on Tuesday, November 14 ahead of the World Cup qualifier vs the Crocodiles of Lesotho.
As of midnight on Tuesday, November 13, only six of the twenty-three players are in camp at the Four Points by Sheraton in Ikot Ekpene, Akwa Ibom State.
As confirmed by the Super Eagles media, the players in camp are Turkey based defender Kenneth Omeruo, Cardiff City left-back Jamiu Collins, Real Sociedad forward Sadiq Umar, Leicester City striker, Kelechi Iheanacho, Omonia Nicosia shot-stopper, Francis Uzoho and Enyimba FC skipper, Ojo Olorunleke.
The twenty-three expected Eagles will arrive camp on Tuesday morning with the first training session fixed for this evening at the practice pitch of the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo.
Bendel Insurance goalkeeper, Amas Obasogie who received a maiden Super Eagles call-up as replacement for Udinese shot-stopper, Maduka Okoye, becomes the second home based player in the squad and will hit camp from Benin-City.
The Nigeria vs Lesotho 2026 FIGA World Cup qualifier will take place on Thursday, November 16, 2023 at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo.
