Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Jalen Brunson named Players of the Month

In the West, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander earned the award after another standout month for the Oklahoma City Thunder. Shai averaged 31.4 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 6.1 assists, leading OKC to a 9–4 record while continuing his steady MVP-level production.
In the East, Jalen Brunson was recognized following a huge scoring stretch for the New York Knicks. Brunson put up 30.6 points, 3.2 rebounds, and 7.1 assists per game, guiding New York to a 10–4 record and keeping the Knicks firmly in the playoff mix.
Both players carried their team game after game throughout the month of December, combining high scoring with consistency, which is exactly what this award reflects and celebrates.
