Shehu Abdullahi disappointed with end of unbeaten run as Anorthosis lost to Apoel Nicosia 

Super Eagles defender Shehu Abdullahi has described his team’s end of unbeaten run to Apoel Nicosia as disappointing and shocking.

Anorthosis Famagusta on Wednesday lost 3-0 at home to Apoel Nicosia, in a match Shehu Abdullahi played all 90mins to bring an end to Anorthosis 17 game unbeaten run in the Cyprus league. 
I never expected that we could lose this match at home considering our present form,” he said
“It was really painful, we have dropped to second position on the table, anyway that is football,

“We will keep pushing as a team and hopefully we will win the league.”

Shehu also disclosed transfer rumours linking him to another clubsides 

“I am open to offers and I wish to move to a bigger league in Europe,” the former Kano Pillars and Plateau United star disclosed

“It is left in the hands of my agent and I will see what he has on the table at the end of this month.”

He has previously played in Kuwait and Portugal. Shehu has since shown his class at Cypriot club Anorthosis.
