Shocker: Pep Guardiola splits from wife after 30 years together

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has reportedly ended his relationship with his wife, Cristina Serra, after three decades together.

Guardiola, who has been focusing on improving his team’s form this season, is said to have parted ways with Serra on amicable terms, according to reports from Spain.

The couple met in 1994 when Guardiola was a player for Barcelona and married in 2014 in a private ceremony. They have three children together – daughters Maria and Valentina, and son Marius.

In 2019, reports suggested that Serra had returned to Barcelona with one of their children, while Guardiola stayed in Manchester. Since then, the couple has mainly lived apart but were occasionally seen together, including at Christmas when they attended the theatre with one of their daughters.

The news of their split comes as Manchester City enjoy an upturn in form, with three consecutive wins in all competitions following a challenging period in their season.
