Shooting Stars Assistant Coach Collapses During Training, Confirmed Dead

Shooting Stars Sports Club have confirmed that newly appointed Assistant Coach, Akin Olowookere, collapsed during a training session and was later confirmed dead.

Olowookere, unveiled just three days ago, was helping the team prepare for their second pre-season match against Abia Warriors when the incident happened. He was rushed to a nearby hospital but was pronounced dead on arrival.

This news will come as a huge blow to Shooting Stars Sports Club, as the NPFL side continues to rebuild ahead of the upcoming Nigeria Premier Football League season.

His sudden death has left the club and the Nigerian football community in deep mourning, with tributes and condolences pouring in for his family.
