Sikiru Alimi Score On Debut For Stade Tunisien
Nigerian Intl, Sikiru Alimi has scored his first goal for his Tunisian side, Stade Tunisien in a 2-2 club friendly on Sunday.
Alimi scored by poking home from a corner kick in the second half to savage a draw for his Tunisian side.
Alimi joined Stade Tunisien in the January transfer window and became the most expensive signing in the club’s history.
In the colours of Lobi Stars last season, he scored five goals in the CAF Champions League and also helped the Pride Of Benue finish fifth in the Nigeria Professional Football League
Alimi was an integral part of the home based Super Eagles team that was stopped by Togo in the last Africa Nations Championship qualifiers.
He scored both goals as the home based Super Eagles defeated Togo 2-0 at the Agege Township stadium to avenge a 4-1 away defeat, even though his brace was not enough to take Nigeria through to the tournament happening in Cameroon this year.
