Simy Nwankwo 20th goal of the season takes Crotone back to Serie A

Super Eagles striker Simy Nwankwo has helped his side gain promotion from Serie B back into Serie A with his impressive goal scoring form.

Simy who is responsible for 32% of sides total goals this season scored a brace on Friday as his side trashed Livorno 5-1 away from home to secure their automatic promotion.

The gangling striker who has been great form scored his 19th and 20th goal of the season to become the Serie B top scorer with 2 games to go.

Simy Nwankwo’s Crotone, like Filipo Inzaghi Benevento have both secured automatic places to play in the Italian top flight football next season.

Crotone FC would be making a return to Serie A two years after they were relegated from Serie A.
