Spalletti suggests Vlahovic is technically better than Osimhen?

Napoli head coach Luciano Spalletti has hinted that Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic is technically a better striker than Victor Osimhen.

Different coaches, former players, current players, and fans have given their takes on who they think is the better striker of the two young goal getters.

Igor Tudor, Verona’s head coach flatly picked Dusan Vlahovic over Victor Osimhen a day into the Verona v Napoli match where the Nigerian scored two goals.

“No, no,” he said when asked if Osimhen was the best striker in Serie A.

“Vlahovic is the best and he [Osimhen] is among the strongest.”

The former Juventus player might have a different view now after his team was punished by two Victor Osimhen well-taken goals the Stadio Bentegodi on Sunday.

A similar question was asked Luciano Spalletti after he guided Napoli to a 2-1 win against Verona on Sunday but the Italian tried to play it safe.

Despite trying to play it safe he hinted that Dusan Vlahovic might be technically better than Victor Osimhen.

“I don’t make comparisons, said Spalletti to DAZN as quoted by tuttojuve.

“Vlahovic is a champion and if a club like Juventus picks him up it is a sign that he has all those things to be one of that level there to play in that team there.

“Osimhen is a top player, he has everything from his, like his age. He’s a good guy, he does everything he can, he wants to be available.

“When you start talking about technical qualities, times, what to bite the defender … He has to improve on these things here “.
