Sporting Lagos part ways with head coach Abdullahi Biffo
Nigeria National League (NNL) side Sporting Lagos have decided not to renew the contract of their head coach, Abdullahi Biffo.
Biffo, who took over from Paul Offor midway through last season, was unable to prevent the club from being relegated from the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL).
According to reports, Sporting Lagos are currently evaluating their options as they search for a new long-term head coach.
In addition to the coaching changes, the club has seen a significant player exodus, with 25 players leaving. Among those departing are former NPFL top scorer Junior Lokosa, along with Jonathan Alukwu, Pascal Durugbor, Godwin Odibo, Wisdom Fernando, and Rivio Anyemwenre.
The departures signal a period of transition for Sporting Lagos as they prepare for the upcoming season in the NNL.
