Spurs extend win Streak with win Over Thunder
The San Antonio Spurs extended their winning streak on Tuesday night with a 130 to 110 victory over the Oklahoma City Thunder.
The game remained close through three quarters before San Antonio pulled away in the fourth, opening the period on a 20 to 8 run and outscoring OKC 43 to 28. The win marked the Spurs’ seventh straight victory and handed the Thunder their largest loss of the season.
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander scored a game high 33 points, but San Antonio’s depth proved decisive. Stephon Castle finished with 24 points, Harrison Barnes added 20, and Devin Vassell scored 17. Keldon Johnson contributed 25 points off the bench.
Victor Wembanyama anchored the defense as the Spurs held Oklahoma City well below its season scoring average. Rookie Dylan Harper recorded 10 assists and 5 steals, becoming the first Spurs rookie to do so in a single game.
