Stephen Curry and Yaxel Lendeborg Lead Warriors to Preseason Finale Victory

The Golden State Warriors closed out their NBA preseason with a home-court victory, receiving strong performances from Stephen Curry and rookie Yaxel Lendeborg as they continued preparations for the upcoming regular season.

Lendeborg, the No. 11 overall pick, delivered an impressive all-around performance, finishing with 17 points, four rebounds, five assists and two steals. His balanced contribution highlighted his ability to impact the game in multiple areas and provided another encouraging sign for Golden State ahead of the new campaign.

Curry also played a key role, recording 20 points, four rebounds and five assists while knocking down three three-pointers. The veteran guard remained an important offensive presence, helping the Warriors maintain their rhythm as they wrapped up their preseason schedule.

Draymond Green contributed seven points, eight rebounds, 10 assists and three steals, demonstrating his familiar versatility as a playmaker and defender. His ability to create opportunities for teammates and contribute on the defensive end remains an important part of Golden State’s approach.

Lendeborg’s performance was particularly noteworthy, with the young prospect showing confidence and composure alongside experienced players such as Curry and Green. His scoring, playmaking and defensive activity offered the Warriors another positive takeaway from their final preseason outing.

As Golden State turns its attention to the regular season, the team will hope to build on the chemistry developed during preseason. Curry’s experience, Green’s all-around contributions and Lendeborg’s promising display could all play important roles as the Warriors look to compete in the Western Conference.

While preseason performances are not a guarantee of regular-season success, Golden State will be encouraged by the contributions of its established stars and emerging talent as the next stage of the campaign approaches.
