Success nets first goal in two years as Watford finish season on a high
Nigerian international, Isaac Success scored for Watford as they won 2-0 in the final match of their SkyBet Championship season at home to Swansea City.
In the game at Vicarage Road, Isaac Success was handed his first start of the season by manager Xisco Munoz and he repaid the manager’s faith with a well-worked goal that started from the goalkeeper and ended with Success powering a right footed effort on the half volley into the top corner of the net to make it 2-0 in the 86th minute after English striker, Andre Gray had opened the scoring for the Hornets.
The goal was the first scored by Success in 27 months after a nightmare spell on the sidelines caused by injuries and off-the-pitch troubles. The striker will be no doubt eagerly looking forward to August when Watford would play their first match back in the English top flight.
