Sunday Oliseh open to Super Eagles return
Former Nigerian international, Suday Oliseh has expressed his willingness return as coach of the Super Eagles, SPortsRation reports.
Oliseh said he will accept the vacant job under the condition that favorable circumstances are in place.
The former Super Eagles skipper previously managed the senior national team from July 2015 to February 2016 but departed due to a strained relationship with the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) and certain senior players.
The 49-year-old, who enjoyed a successful playing career with Ajax, is one of the names being considered as a potential replacement for Portugues gaffer Jose Peseiro.
However, in an interview with Channels Television Sports, the 1994 Africa Cup of Nations winner clarified that his interest in the role is contingent upon the right conditions being met.
“Right now, what I can say is that I am going to put my wildcard on this question,” Oliseh stated. “As I have also often said, if Nigeria needs my services, I will always help my country if the right conditions are met.”
