Super Eagles adjust travel plans to Bouake for AFCON semi-final clash
Nigeria’s Super Eagles have adjusted their travel plans for the upcoming 2023 Africa Cup of Nations semi-final match against South Africa.
Originally scheduled to depart for Bouake on Sunday, the team has decided to extend their stay in Abidjan for an additional day.
On Monday morning, the Nigerian players and officials will embark on a special flight to Bouake for the crucial fixture.
Meanwhile, the Super Eagles team had their initial training session on Sunday night at the Police College in Cocody, Abidjan. The session was closed with media personnel’s at the venue granted access to the first 15 minutes of the training.
Looking ahead, the Super Eagles will conduct a closed-door training session in Bouake on Tuesday night in preparation for the encounter with South Africa’s Bafana Bafana.
The highly anticipated match will take place at the Stade de la Paix, Bouake, on Wednesday, Febuary 7, 2024 by 6pm.
