Super Eagles AFCON Provisional squad-list revealed
The names of players on the Super Eagles of Nigeria provisional squad-list for the upcoming 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) have been leaked to the public.
This is according to report via ACLSPORTS.
Head coach Jose Peseiro has reportedly submitted a list of 33 players from which he will finalize the squad for the highly anticipated tournament scheduled to kickoff in Ivory Coast on January 13.
Peseiro will trim the provisional squad to 27-players, with the final list to be submitted to CAF before January 3, 2024.
The leaked provisional squad includes notable names and some fresh faces who could make their mark on the continental stage. Among the new additions are goalkeepers Stanley Nwabali of Chippa United and Christian Nwoke of Sporting Lagos FC, as well as midfielder Alhassan Yusuf of Royal Antwerp.
