Super Eagles B goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali joins Chippa United
Super Eagles B goalkepeer Stanley Nwabali has completed a move to South African Premier Soccer League side Chippa United FC SportsRation reports.
Free agent Nwabali last played for relegated Nigeria Professional Football League side Katsina United FC in the 2021/2022 season .
His first club outside the shores of Nigeria , the 26-year old Nigerian shotstopper joins the Chilli Boys who are currently placed 10th on the PSL standings .
Nwabali put pen to paper after a successful medical in South Africa . The 1.96m tall shotstopper replaces Sipho Chaine who moved to Orlando Pirates in September.
Details of the contract duration and financial terms are expected in the clubs official statement soon.
At the Nelson Bay Stadium, Nwabali will battle for starting berth with Loydt Karaupa and two other goalie’s .
Chippa United’s last PSL outing ended in a 1-0 win over Marumo Gallants, the Chilli will will face Kaiser Chiefs in their next game on October 15 .
