Super Eagles Conclude Training Ahead of Rwanda World Cup Qualifier
The Super Eagles of Nigeria have wrapped up their final training session ahead of Friday’s 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Rwanda.
Twenty-three players took part in the session on Thursday evening, under the watchful eye of head coach Eric Chelle. It will be Chelle’s first game in charge since his appointment in January.
The Nigerian team opened camp on Monday to prepare for the crucial clash against Rwanda’s Amavubi.
Among the players in camp are captain William Troost-Ekong, Wilfred Ndidi, Victor Osimhen, Alex Iwobi, and Samuel Chukwueze.

The three-time African champions have held three training sessions in total ahead of the encounter.
The match against Adel Amrouche’s side will take place at the Amahoro Stadium in Kigali on Friday, 21 March 2025. Kick-off is set for 5:00 pm Nigerian time.
