Super Eagles Hold First Training Ahead of Rwanda Clash

The Super Eagles had their first training session on Tuesday afternoon as they prepare for the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Rwanda.

Twenty-two players took part in the training, which was led by head coach Eric Chelle. This was also the team’s first training session under Chelle since he was appointed in January.

The team opened camp on Monday ahead of Friday’s game against Rwanda’s Amavubi.

The three-time African champions will have two more training sessions before the match against Adel Amrouche’s team.

The match will take place at the Amahoro Stadium in Kigali on Friday. Kick-off is at 5:00 pm Nigerian time.
