Super Eagles move up places, now World’s 42nd & Africa’s 3rd in latest FIFA Rankings
The Super Eagles of Nigeria have moved up places in the latest FIFA Rankings after the World Football governing body, FIFA released the rankings for the month of March.
Results achieved by the Super Eagles in the month of review were key to the upward movements in the latest ranking.
Super Eagles who were 46th in the last rankings are now 42nd in the latest rankings after moving up four places.
Easy 3-1 win against Seychelles in the last AFCON qualifying game and the 1-0 win against Egypt in an international friendly helped moved Nigeria forward in the rankings.
The Super Eagles of Nigeria now third in Africa are only behind Senegal and Tunisia in the African rankings.
