Super Eagles of Nigeria qualify for 2021 AFCON with two game to spare
The Super Eagles of Nigeria have booked their places in the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations scheduled for Cameroon.
Gernot Rohe led side who are few minutes into one of their last two games have qualified without having to kick the ball in their Saturday clash.
Nigeria tackle Benin Republic later today in what would have been a must not lose clash but with the result from the other group members, they just have booked a place in the final 24.
The goalless draw between Lesotho and Sierra Leone in the game played earlier meant Nigeria remained top with 8 points and Benin Republic second with 7 points.
While Sierra Leone and Lesotho have 4 and 3 points respectively after five games.
This means none could mathematically beat Nigeria to a spot even if they lose their next two games.
